The Role
You will be responsible for delivering complete mechanical design solutions, from initial concept and calculations through to final fabrication documentation.
Working closely with project teams and technical stakeholders, you will ensure designs meet client specifications, quality standards, and operational constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Design technical solutions in line with client requirements and project constraints
Perform feasibility studies, pre-dimensioning calculations, and detailed design work
Develop 3D models and produce fabrication drawings
Manage all engineering phases up to the full fabrication dossier
Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project proposals
Support manufacturing, testing phases, and on‑site commissioning activities
Required Profile
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical design (industrial machines and/or welded structures)
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes: welding, machining, and assembly
Proven experience managing full design lifecycle through to fabrication
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred)
Experience in high‑safety or regulated environments is advantageous
Fluency in French and English
Ability to work autonomously and adapt to project/site requirements
NATO nationality required (single or dual, both compliant)
