Join Bcomp’s Finance team as an Accounting Assistant and support the day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations of a fast-growing Swiss scale‑up. In this 50–60% role, you will contribute to cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, ERP data accuracy, and administrative support in close collaboration with the Finance Operations Team Lead.
About The Position
As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations at Bcomp. You will mainly be involved in the transactional side of cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate processing, follow‑up and documentation of financial transactions.
Working closely with the Finance Operations Team Lead, you will contribute to smooth and reliable finance processes, support internal stakeholders, and participate in company projects when required. You will also provide support with legal and administrative tasks.
This position is ideal for someone with a commercial education, first experience in accounting or finance administration, and a positive, reliable and solution‑oriented mindset.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
* Support the transactional side of cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Process supplier invoices, customer invoices and payments
* Support the follow‑up and reconciliation of financial transactions
* Ensure accurate booking and documentation of accounting entries
* Maintain proper records and support internal finance processes
* Assist with invoice processing and payment preparation
* Follow up on open items when needed
* Support customer and supplier account reconciliations
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in the ERP system
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice, payment or documentation questions
* Collaborate closely with the Finance Operations Team Lead on daily activities
* Support process improvements within the finance function
* Participate in company projects when required
* Work with different departments to ensure efficient information flow and problem solving
* Support legal and administrative tasks linked to finance operations
* Assist with documentation, filing and contract‑related administration
* Contribute to maintaining structured and reliable administrative processes
Requirements
* Commercial education with first experience in a comparable role
* First experience in accounting, finance operations, administration or a similar position
* Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP Business One
* Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
* Reliable, resilient and well‑organised
* Positive and energetic attitude
* Team‑oriented personality with an “everything is possible” mindset

* Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Experience with SAP Business One
* Previous experience in an international, industrial or scale‑up environment
* Interest in process improvement and digitalisation of finance operations
