To strengthen our Technical Office department, we are seeking a creative individual with a conceptual mindset for the position of
Constructeur habillage horloger senior (f/h/d) 100%
Your tasks include:
1. Designing and developing watch case components (bracelet, clasp, buckle, and cases), as well as the necessary manufacturing fixtures (machining, inspection, polishing, assembly).
2. Acting as the technical contact for clients to ensure clear understanding of their needs and proposing optimal solutions within cost, quality, and time constraints.
3. Managing the approval process for new products.
4. Creating technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
5. Ensuring technical drawings and functional dimensioning meet watchmaking standards.
6. Collaborating with industrialization, production, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and optimize designs and manufacturing costs.
7. Participating in the preparation of offers.
8. Engaging in design reviews and proposing innovative technical solutions.
9. Analyzing technical constraints and suggesting manufacturing and assembly improvements.
10. Monitoring prototype development and validating parts before production launch.
11. Creating presentation materials and brochures for clients.
Required skills include:
* Apprenticeship as a Watchmaker or degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, horology, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in watch case design or similar roles.
* Excellent knowledge of watch materials (steel, titanium, gold, platinum).
* Proficiency in Office and CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
* Good understanding of machining processes and watch assembly techniques.
* Strong knowledge of horological standards and requirements.
* Knowledge of ISO-GPS standards is a plus.
* Creative with excellent conceptual skills and innovative solutions.
* Team-oriented with effective communication skills across departments.
* Fluent in written and spoken French.
