Evans is hiring a Sr. Business Operations Specialist resource to support a contract for personnel and readiness employing significant and complex military or defense-related systems that are developed, managed, and/or utilized by the United States Department of Defense (DoD). These systems may be large-scale projects involving advanced technologies and substantial investments. They can include various components such as national security systems, communication systems, surveillance systems, or other capabilities aimed at enhancing national security and military readiness and effectiveness.
The Sr. Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and streamlining internal business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and the implementation of operational improvements across departments.
Analyze business operations and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement new processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with stakeholders to address operational, financial, and technological risks.
Monitor performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
Assist in financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage vendor relationships and third-party contracts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support training initiatives and onboarding for new processes and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
Prior DoD and/or military experience is highly preferred.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello).

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans’s total compensation package for employees.
