Openness, excellence, and a multicultural environment. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our airline catering kitchen operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing a multicultural culinary team and ensuring the delivery of premium meals that meet the high standards expected by our aviation clients. Annual gross salary CHF 80'000–90'000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience. Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise a multicultural culinary team. Ensure consistent food quality, portioning, taste, and presentation according to airline catering standards. Create, document, and standardize recipes and procedures for First and Business Class menus. Lead tastings, evaluate ingredient freshness, and ensure authenticity and balance in all dishes. Supervise high-volume production for airline catering without compromising quality. Develop seasonal, rotational menus that reflect client preferences and industry trends. Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager on supplier relations, cost efficiency, stock levels, and sourcing. Plan and oversee staff schedules (rosters) to ensure adequate coverage and smooth kitchen operations. Follow up on kitchen hygiene protocols and conduct internal audits. Maintain clean and organized workspaces and enforce safe food handling practices. Train, coach, and mentor culinary staff in technical skills, food safety, and operational procedures. Work with other department managers (e.g., operations, logistics, client service) to ensure smooth and timely flight dispatch. What we offer : Straight / continuing shift.
