The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Presales Engineer
to join the team in Zurich, covering Switzerland and Austria. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales to guide enterprise and upper mid-market customers through their technology journey, from discovery through proof of concept to post-sales handover. This is a customer-facing position that requires strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design and deliver tailored solutions.
Expect frequent travel across the region (2–3 weeks per month, 2–3 days per week on-site with clients and partners).
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical lead for enterprise customers and partners throughout the presales lifecycle, from qualification through solution design and handover
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners via virtual and onsite engagements
* Analyze customer needs and design tailored EUC solutions aligned with best practices and reference architecture
* Prepare, deliver, and support proof of concepts, technical workshops, and product demonstrations
* Own and manage technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and public tenders
* Provide technical leadership on complex projects, collaborating with partners, customers, and internal teams
* Work directly with technology partners to validate integrations and drive new business opportunities
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert in your designated technology area
* Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and technical forums
* Contribute customer and market insights to Product Management and Development
* Mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 6+ years experience in a Presales Engineer role, ideally in EUC, virtualization, or endpoint solutions
* Strong expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems
* Solid experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, and AWS
* Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory)
* Familiarity with thin client or endpoint operating systems is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly
* Strong problem-solving abilities, customer focus, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
* Fluent in
German and English
(both required) - French is a Bonus
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Switzerland and Austria
