Ensures the temple ordinances are kept pure, recorded accurately and made available to worthy Church members by:
1. Providing an environment where patrons may have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple.
2. Maintaining and operating temples at standards established by the First Presidency.
Assists temple management to ensure that temple patrons are properly served and that all sacred ordinances are accurately accounted for and properly recorded. As Temple Clerical Leader, ensures that patrons coming to the temple receive friendly, courteous service from all members of the office team and that the ordinances patrons accomplish are recorded in accordance with proper temple procedures.
3. Handles complex ordinance-related questions and problems, in-person, by phone or email.
4. Taking care of all ordinance-related administration, including verification of records.
5. Monitors temple recording function to ensure the continued operation of all temple information software programs.
6. Leads office clerical team of up to 5 individuals, including training employees and volunteers.
7. Organizes distribution of work, including team scheduling and tasks.
8. Assists temple leadership in scheduling and recruitment process for volunteers.
9. Supervises the process of lost and found of items.
10. Participates in councils with other temple team supervisors and co-works with Laundry and Housing Operations on a regular basis.
11. Other duties as assigned.
12. Official formal training in office/business-related field or three years of office clerical experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
13. Ability to supervise, motivate, and train people to be accurate in their work.
14. Pleasing personality with the capacity to work well with people.
15. Willingness and capability to develop new ideas and recommendations for improvement.
16. Flexibility in work schedule.
17. Ability to deal properly with confidential and sensitive information.
18. Strong problem-solving capability, to answer questions and correct issues pertaining to the computer information systems.
19. Expertise in organizing projects, daily tasks, and data.
20. Advanced German, French, and English language skills are required.
