You will work within a cross-functional environment, collaborating with teams across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions. This role offers the opportunity to influence product development from concept through to implementation, ensuring solutions meet both user needs and regulatory standards.This position is initially offered as a fixed-term contract (9–12 months), with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent role.ResponsibilitiesLead technical activities within cross-functional product development projectsTranslate user needs and market insights into clear technical requirementsEvaluate technical concepts and conduct feasibility assessmentsPlan and execute design verification and validation activities in line with quality and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, MDR, ISO)Coordinate design transfer to manufacturing sites and support production readinessDrive product and process improvements related to quality, usability, and cost efficiencySupport lifecycle management activities, including ongoing product and process monitoringContribute to root cause analysis and problem‑solving initiativesEnsure adherence to product development processes, guidelines, and documentation standardsRequirements – Must HaveDegree in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or a related fieldExperience in product development, ideally within regulated industriesKnowledge of design control processes and relevant standards (e.g., FDA, MDR, ISO)Strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to manage priorities and work both independently and collaborativelyClear and effective communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)Nice‑to‑haveExperience in dental, medical device, or CADCAM‑related environmentsFamiliarity with development tools such as FMEA, tolerance analysis, or statistical analysisUnderstanding of manufacturing and testing processesAdditional language skillsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability
