Our client, an innovative and growing division in business aviation, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Project Operations Manager to lead their high-performing Technical Operations Team. Main Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and guide a team of up to 18 professionals, providing coaching and development.
Project Management: Plan, schedule, and control complex aviation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
Process Optimization: Apply Lean principles to identify and implement improvements in workflows and operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulations (EASA, FAA, FOCA, Part 145, Part 21) and internal quality and safety standards.-
Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Certification staff to meet project goals.
Audit management:Coordinate and implement corrective actions in response to audit findings, fostering continuous improvement.
Qualifications Proven Experience: Solid track record in managing teams and complex projects within the aviation industry (OEM, MRO, Completions Center, etc.).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerospace regulations (EASA, Part 21).
Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, team motivation, and change management capabilities.
Plus: Knowledge of Lean principles (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus).
