In this role you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning. You will provide executive‑level insights to drive strategic decision‑making, support business growth, and optimize processes across finance and operations. Accountabilities
Oversee financial operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and executive‑level dashboards.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide strategic business decisions.
Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and system integrations for efficiency and scalability.
Conduct profitability and performance analyses across product lines, customer segments, and business units.
Mentor and lead finance team members, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support organizational objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred; Master’s or MBA a plus.
7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3–5 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role.
Experience with e‑commerce, retail, or inventory‑based businesses is highly desirable; public accounting experience is a plus.
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP) and e‑commerce/inventory management platforms.
Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence/reporting tool skills.
Deep understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, with a proven track record in compliance and risk management.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills for executive reporting.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment aligned with Central Time business hours.
