About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Product Development Manager
to lead the end-to-end development of innovative products in Switzerland. You will oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs, business goals, and customer expectations. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, design, and execution of new product development initiatives.
* Define product roadmaps, specifications, and requirements based on market research and customer insights.
* Collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
* Monitor product performance and continuously improve features and functionality.
* Ensure compliance with Swiss/EU regulations, quality standards, and industry certifications.
* Manage vendor relationships, sourcing, and supply chain coordination when necessary.
* Conduct competitive analysis and identify new market opportunities.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the product development team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Product Management, or related field.
* 6–10 years of experience in
product development or product management
, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to market.
* Strong understanding of
project management methodologies
(Agile, Scrum, or Stage-Gate).
* Experience working in
technology, manufacturing, or consumer goods
industries is an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in
German or French
is a strong advantage in Switzerland.
