What the role is
Join our dynamic team and contribute to the Singapore Tax Story! We are seeking dedicated and passionate corporate communications specialists to develop and manage our media publicity, social media and public communication campaigns. The successful candidate will contribute to:
Shaping IRAS' public presence through well-crafted communication strategies and meaningful stakeholder relationships.
Developing and executing communication strategies that strengthen IRAS' corporate image, managing relationships across key stakeholder groups, and driving the full spectrum of communications functions.
What you will be working on
Develop communication strategies to engage stakeholders, including the media and members of public, to help promote and shape narratives on tax-related initiatives and services.
Build and manage relationships with the media and digital publishers, while staying ahead of industry trends and the evolving media landscape.
Monitor media and online sentiment, and use data and audience insights to sharpen communications strategies and messaging.
Manage the organisation’s social media presence across platforms.
Produce high-quality content - such as press releases, photos, videos, infographics, and branding collaterals - that brings the IRAS story to life.
Collaborate with business units to develop communications assets that translate complex tax topics into clear, accessible public messaging.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a candidate preferably with a background in Communications or Mass Communications and experience in corporate communications, media relations or marketing communications. The ideal candidate will possess:
A pleasant personality and excellent presentation, speaking, and writing skills.
Experience in media relations, including pitching stories, and managing press engagements.
Diplomacy in negotiating and dealing with stakeholders.
A passion for content creation, comfort on camera, and a knack for engaging audiences on social media – candidates are expected to be familiar with Adobe Suite.
