Partner Solution Architect - AI Business Process role at Microsoft, focused on AI-powered transformation across the DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) via Microsoft Partner companies. You’ll design cutting-edge solutions, deliver compelling demos, and influence strategic decisions for top-tier partners to help them create new solutions and offerings for the market. You’ll collaborate with sales, engineering, and partners to bring AI to life—across devices, cloud, and business apps—helping organizations unlock productivity and growth with the Microsoft technology stack including D365 Sales, D365 Customer Service, D365 Field Service, D365 Finance, D365 Supply Chain, D365 Contact Center, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
Responsibilities
* Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams through on-strategy delivery to achieve customer/partner objectives and increase customer/partner satisfaction. Proactively manages business and technical risks, adapts methodology and applies governance principles to identify, communicate, and minimize risks.
* Proactively identifies new opportunities for consumption and usage at scale based on business value to partners and a clear understanding of the Microsoft value proposition for supported platforms to empower cloud success, strengthen security and resiliency, and drive AI innovation.
* Actively listens to and respectfully challenges customers and partners, building trust to advocate for alternative architectures/solutions/approaches that shape and/or enhance customer requirements. Identifies and evaluates industry trends, gathers partner insights, and maps existing architecture and digital transformation solutions to partner business outcomes.
Partner Specialization
* Identifies and prioritizes opportunities aligned with revenue goals and grows the solution utilization pipeline with partners. Provides assistance with partner and sales teams to bring clarity to opportunities through proof of concept and technical pre-sales support.
* Guides and supports partners in developing repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions. Advises the partner throughout initial strategic customer implementations.
Technical Leadership
* Leverages market insights to influence senior leadership, drives up-skilling and accreditations, and promotes technical readiness across the organization. Leads readiness and upskilling activities and educates colleagues on technical and non-technical concepts.
* Develops the organization’s community engagement strategy, sharing insights and strategic technical input across boundaries, leveraging Microsoft architectures and the competitive landscape. Pursues opportunities to grow impact and capabilities, contributes to IP development, and represents Microsoft’s technology vision at events.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
* Professional English proficiency and fluent in at least one of the following: German, French, Italian
Preferred Qualifications
* Technology know-how for D365 Sales, D365 Customer Service, D365 Field Service, D365 Finance, D365 Supply Chain, D365 Contact Center, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role and in technical projects.
* Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications).
