Responsibilities
* This position will focus on production planning supporting the sales and manufacturing departments by assisting in achieving the daily production objectives
* Develop and manage production schedules and workflows to ensure efficient operations aligned with capacity, lead times, and customer demand
* Drive accurate and timely order execution by converting sales orders into production and purchase orders and managing them through SAP
* Monitor capacity, output, and demand forecasts, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and optimizing resource utilization
* Maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy by managing master data, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting informed decision-making
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing planning processes, leveraging SAP data, and supporting cross‑functional collaboration
Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field and 2+ years of experience; or High School Diploma with 5+ years of equivalent experience in production/operations planning, or a similar supply chain function
* 2+ years of experience in make to order manufacturing environment preferred
* Advanced understanding of production flow and shop floor operations
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
* Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
* Data analysis skills
* Strong organizational, communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills
* APICS certification is a plus
