PhD student in Life Science Engineering (100 %) Your mission Execute an innovative research project at the intersection of experimental process development and computational modeling, with a focus on process optimization and analytical technologies. Collaborate with the project partner Lonza and the PhD co-supervisor Prof. Jürgen Hubbuch at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), ensuring strong communication in alignment with project goals. Share your findings through high-impact publications and conference presentations, contributing to the scientific community and industry advancements. Your profile Master’s degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or a related field, with an academic record above (Swiss grading system). Hands-on experience with liquid handling systems, inclusion body refolding, and/or molecular dynamics simulations. Strong programming skills (, Python, R, MATLAB) for data analysis and modeling. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English. Industrial experience in biopharmaceuticals or related fields is a plus.
