Responsibilities include:
* Operation, engineering, and management of Oracle & PostgreSQL databases and data warehouse (GoldenGate, DataHub)
* Participation in migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL and moving to Azure Cloud
* Development of database and data warehouse concepts
* Automation, performance optimization, scripting, monitoring, and logging
* Participation in user groups and manufacturer events
* Collaboration within a team of experienced DBAs, Linux, and middleware engineers
Qualifications:
* Informatics education or comparable experience
* Good knowledge of automation and scripting
* Experience in operation and migration of PostgreSQL
* Automation tools like Chef, Jenkins, Ansible
* Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL)
* Deployment in Azure with Terraform
* Fluent in German
