We are looking for a Electrical / Power Electronics Engineer (80 - 100%), with very good knowledge in certification who can support our Product Compliance Team.
Responsibilities
* Lead certification projects for medium-voltage frequency converters.
* Manage and clarify product requirements related to standards and directives.
* Collaborate with external notified bodies (e.g., TÜV SÜD, UL, CSA).
* Obtain, validate, and finalize documentation from notified bodies.
* Witness tests, review results, and approve reports.
* Prepare and support documentation for certification processes.
* Define and approve system integration tests and specifications according to standards.
* Gather critical components data for electrical safety compliance (UL, APQP, etc.).
* Coordinate implementation of product changes with cross-functional teams.
* Manage certification-related activities across MV Drives tools and processes.
* Oversee compliance certification activities for multiple projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related
* 5+ years of experience in power electrical engineering engineering / 2+ years in compliance engineering
* Self-driven personality / Project management
* High sense of responsibility and commitment
* Project management
* Standards (mandatory) IEC 61800-5-1, UL347A, UL61800-5-1, CSA, ABS Marine, DNV GL, APQP, LVD (2014/35/EU), MD (2006/42/EC), EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and 2015/862/EU
* Fluent in English / Fluency in German is an advantage
