Today, Ageas Re serves clients globally, specializing in property and casualty treaty reinsurance. /p h3Your function /h3 ul liCarry out pricing and risk assessment of reinsurance catastrophe treaties using vendor cat models, actuarial and statistical techniques /li liCollaborate directly with underwriters to align pricing models with underwriting practices and business objectives. /li liBe responsible for accurate cat data in all Ageas Re systems including accumulation control, performance, and portfolio metrics /li liConduct detailed analysis of vendor models, broker models, and develop internal view of risk /li liClose collaboration with cat modelers, property UW and actuaries based in Zurich and Brussels /li liAnalyze historical claims data, exposure metrics, and market trends to inform pricing decisions. /li liEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and internal pricing frameworks. /li liDesign and maintain pricing models for reinsurance products using actuarial and statistical techniques. /li liAct as a mentor to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and technical development across the underwriting and pricing teams. /li liStay informed on recent publications, industry developments, and branch-specific updates by attending conferences, engaging in professional communities, and contributing to internal or external publications—integrating relevant insights into pricing methodologies. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as natural science, data science, engineering, or a related field. /li li5 - 10 years reinsurance cat modeling or pricing experience /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills; /li liSharp analytical skills; /li liProactive problem solving skills; /li liAble to manage and meet deadlines and work under pressure; /li liStrong proficiency in one or more programming language such as VBA, R, Python, SQL. /li liFull professional proficiency in English.
