Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and expanding the company's footprint in the lifestyle and consumer goods sectors across Europe and Asia. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing franchise operations, and enhancing market presence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, particularly in franchises and consumer goods, and a deep understanding of the European and Asian markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Strategy:

o Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the lifestyle and consumer goods sectors.
o Develop and implement strategic business development plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
o Analyze and report on market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies.
1. Business Development:

o Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lifestyle and consumer goods sectors, including potential franchise partners and licensing deals.
o Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
o Lead negotiations and close deals to establish new franchises and partnerships.
1. Franchise Management:
1.
o Oversee the development and implementation of franchise operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and operational guidelines.
o Provide training and support to franchisees to ensure successful launch and ongoing operations.
o Monitor franchise performance and provide recommendations for improvement and growth.
1. Client Relationship Management:
1.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
o Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
o Regularly update clients on new products, services, and promotional opportunities.
1. Sales and Revenue Growth:

o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the lifestyle and consumer goods divisions.
o Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
o Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
1. Operational Oversight:
1.
o Ensure efficient and effective operations within the business development team and across franchise operations.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations.
o Manage budgets and resources to optimize business development activities.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, with a focus on franchises and consumer goods.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets in Europe and Asia.
* Strong understanding of the lifestyle and consumer goods markets.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to travel extensively within Europe and Asia as required.

Skills and Competencies:

* Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
* Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
* Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
