The annual salary range for this role is $135,000-$150,000 in New York.

The World Economic Forum is an international organization that brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to build industry, regional, and global agendas, address systemic issues, and improve the state of the world.

The Global Industries Team is responsible for building and managing the Forum's 20+ global Industry Communities and for strategic engagement across North America and Europe.

Why we are Recruiting

We are currently searching for a Partner Lead (account manager), who will focus on building and reinforcing strategic relationships with senior executives from Forum Partner companies in the Industries, primarily institutional and venture capital investors.

Responsibilities include :

* Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with key executives from CEO, C-suite, Ex. Com., to Executive Contacts.
* Developing in-depth understanding of Partners’ strategies and priorities.
* Developing strategic approaches to partner engagement based on a deep understanding of the Partner’s priorities and industry trends.
* Ensuring retention by developing tailored engagement plans for Partners to address their priorities and deepen their engagement in relevant Forum activities.
* Onboarding Senior Executives from Partner companies into the Forum ecosystem and relevant engagements.
* Visiting Partners regularly to discuss their priorities and build their agendas.
* Ensuring all Partner interactions are accurately documented in Salesforce and relevant stakeholders are notified.
* Monitoring Partner news, engagement quality, and risks, and taking preventive measures.
* Identifying opportunities for expanded Partner engagement and upgrades.
* Managing Partners’ and prospective Partners’ approach, preparation, and participation in Forum events.
* Ensuring smooth offboarding of Partners when required.

To be successful, a Partner Lead should :

* Build strategic relationships with senior executives and develop tailored engagement plans.
* Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional connections.
* Listen to partners and quickly understand their needs.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the Investor Industries and influencing forces.
* Align the mission of partner companies with the World Economic Forum’s mission when possible.
* Be well organized and keep track of partner needs and interactions.
* Monitor and manage engagement metrics proactively.
* Use Salesforce effectively to document and deepen relationships.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a ‘One-Forum’ approach.

Preferred Requirements and Experience :

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
* Experience engaging with business leaders at the senior executive level.
* Ability to influence at the highest senior levels.
* Critical thinking, synthesis, and collaborative skills.
* Outstanding communication skills and fluency in English.
* Strong service orientation and entrepreneurial attitude.
* Ability to travel up to 30% for Partner visits.
