Overview
The Business Development Manager Sports Medicine (German-speaking Switzerland) is responsible for establishing and expanding our Sports Medicine business in the region. The role includes developing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), while actively identifying and acquiring new customers. The resource drives revenue growth through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, organizes and conducts product presentations, workshops, and surgical case support, and acts as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals. A key part of the responsibility is to engage with KOLs and other influential stakeholders to strengthen our clinical presence and support the adoption of our solutions. In close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Clinical Specialists, the resource implements the company’s strategy, monitors market and competitor activities, and translates insights into actionable business development initiatives. By ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and contribute to the sustainable growth and success of the Sports Medicine business in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
* expand and strengthen our presence in the Sports Medicine market;
* build long-term relationships with KOLs and Opinion Leader;
* identify and win new customers while increasing sales with existing accounts;
* organize and deliver product presentations, workshops, and surgical case support;
* monitor market trends and competitors to develop winning strategies;
* collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical teams to achieve business goals.
Secondary tasks
* support the Junior PM;
* participate in team meetings;
* attend congresses or other educational events if needed.
Qualifications
Hard Skills
* degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Medical Technology, Operating Room Nurse;
* proven track record in sales, business development;
* deep knowledge of sports medicine.
Soft Skills
* strong communication and negotiation skills with entrepreneurial drive;
* native German speaker with fluent English (French is a plus);
* based in German-speaking Switzerland or willing to move to Switzerland;
* willing to travel extensively;
* spirit of initiative.
