The successful candidate will lead the on-site task force for critical missing parts, including the professional guidance of the task force team mainly in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, and France, by carrying out the following task areas:
* Analyses critical procurement situations (raw materials, critical components or single sources, production capacity, etc.), identify specific causes, and derive necessary actions.
* Defines and establish the required activities to improve supply performance in coordination with relevant departments (development, quality, procurement, etc.).
* Monitors and take responsibility for implementing the defined measures, as well as identify decision needs within the task force team.
* Prepares task force reports for the department head/management board, document and potentially escalate the task force status to the department head.
* Coordinates the internal and external staff regarding administration and work outcomes.
In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:
* Successfully completed of a technical or business administration degree with an alternative specialization in engineering or business.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in an industrial company.
* Experience in project management and series production within an industrial company, preferably in the business-to-business sector.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the market, production, and procurement processes.
* Experience in leading complex cross-functional projects.
* Experience working in a matrix organization.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills.
* Proficient in both German and English, verbally and written.
