To grow our engineering team in Kastanienbaum (Lucerne, Switzerland), we are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Lead for our Airborne Electronics Design team:
Your role:
* Lead and mentor a team of airborne electronics engineers, coordinating daily activities and fostering a high performance, collaborative environment.
* Drive efficiency, evaluate and refine existing workflows, tools and processes to boost productivity.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance during the request for proposal (RFP) phase.
* Define, measure, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team efficiency and project success.
* Foster cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with other departments and the customer to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
* Ensure, along the project manager, that projects are on‑time and adequately resourced.
Your Profile – Essential Qualifications:
* A passion for aviation and innovative technology.
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
* A proven leadership track record in hardware and/or software development.
* Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
Your ideal background:
* Proven experience in electronic HW and / or SW development within the aviation industry.
* Hands‑on experience in successfully certifying a project according to DO‑178.
* Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of aircraft system architectures.
* Good knowledge of relevant aviation legislation (EASA/FAA).
