Student Accounting Officer – Les Roches

In this role you will manage and maintain accurate financial records related to student accounts, including tuition fees, accommodation charges, health insurance administration and cash handling from campus outlets.
Key responsibilities:
* Billing & Payments: Prepare invoices, record and reconcile payments, ensure compliance.
* Student Accounts: Maintain records and monitor outstanding balances.
* Health Insurance: Manage entries and cancellations, ensure timely updates, communicate clearly with students.
* Cash Management: Reconcile cash from outlets, check floats, and register revenues accurately.
* Student Support: Respond to inquiries and provide clear explanations on charges, payments and insurance.
* Front‑Facing Role: Provide professional and courteous service to students, sponsors and customers.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners for accurate data flow.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
* 1‑2 years in accounting or administrative finance roles (preferably in education or hospitality).
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel essential); knowledge of AX Dynamics 365.
* Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Fluency in English and French required.
