As a solution architect on Swiss Post’s Architecture team, you will create future-orientated solutions, in close cooperation with partners from various units and the BI and Analytics Development teams.

* As an enthusiastic solution architect for business intelligence and analytics, you are able to support teams in exciting implementation and modernization projects thanks to your team spirit and passion, and you help to provide reporting and analytics solutions for the entire Swiss Post Group in a sustainable, high-performance and reliable manner.
* You will play a central role in designing the architecture and tools, as well as in promoting data for our BI, DWH and analytics landscape.
* You will check implementation ideas with regard to architecture guidelines, technical feasibility, quality, security and economic aspects.
* As part of the strong team of solution and enterprise architects, you will be involved in the strategic alignment of technology and data architectures and in the design of reference architecture and guidelines.
What you have to offer
* In order to quickly familiarize yourself with this varied field of activity, you have a university degree in IT (Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent professional experience), as well as experience in the design and implementation of architectures.
* You have experience in solution architecture and enjoy visualizing the requirements of internal partners and projects in architectural images, as well as conveying architectural principles and strategies.
* You are enthusiastic about business intelligence use cases and have a good overview and understanding of solutions in the SAP BI environment (BW, SAC, DSP, BDC) as well as PowerBI, Azure Fabric or the AWS analytics services.
* You have practical experience with the cloud (ideally AWS), data integration (KAFKA/Rest), data virtualization and data and information security and are interested in these fields.
* You continually develop both professionally and personally and communicate confidently in English.
You have the option of working remotely, but a regular presence in Bern will be required.
