We’re Hiring: Gas & Power Market Risk Analyst (Physical & Financial)
I’m currently working with a leading energy trading organization that’s looking to bring on a Gas & Power Market Risk Analyst with around 3 years of experience across both physical and financial markets.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has already built a solid foundation in energy risk and is ready to take on more ownership, exposure to traders, and real commercial impact.
What I’m looking for:
* ~3 years of hands‑on experience in gas and/or power markets
* Strong understanding of physical positions (transport, storage, generation, load) and financial instruments (futures, options, swaps)
* Experience with market risk metrics such as VaR, stress testing, P&L explain, and scenario analysis
* Ability to work closely with front office traders and provide actionable risk insights
* Strong analytical skills; comfort working with data, models, and reporting tools
