We are currently seeking a Avionics Engineer with experience in the aerospace industry at one of our top clients in Lucerne Area, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
* Lead engineering activities related to aircraft interior lighting systems, acting as the focal point for this domain within the avionics team.
* Support the development, integration, and validation of air data systems, including probes and air data computers.
* Work closely with avionics and interior teams to ensure successful system integration and compliance with project requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the air data system domain.
* Coordinate suppliers and support technical reviews, issue resolution, and development follow‑up activities.
* Contribute to system engineering activities including requirements management, integration, testing, and certification support.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in avionics engineering, with proven background in aircraft interior lighting systems and / or air data systems.
* Good knowledge of air data probes, air data computers, and system integration activities.
* Experience leading technical topics and collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Ability to mentor and support junior engineers in a technical environment.
* Experience in supplier management and coordination within aerospace development programs.
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Professional English is essential, German is considered a plus.
