Are you ready to shape the future of scientific data automation? We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect and deliver a pioneering Proof of Concept (PoC) that will transform how research protocols and assay data are validated and extracted in the life sciences sector.
You will lead the design and implementation of advanced agent workflows using AWS cloud, Large Language Models (LLMs), and human-in-the-loop review systems. This is a rare opportunity to make a direct impact on scientific innovation, data integrity, and operational efficiency for a global leader, while collaborating with a talented, distributed engineering team.
Key responsibilities
* Own the technical design and delivery of agent workflows, integrating with Amazon A2I for human review
* Pioneer the “LLM-as-a-Judge” pattern to calculate confidence scores for AI‑extracted data, driving high data quality
* Build a custom user interface (PoC) for the human review portal, enabling subject matter experts to efficiently validate and correct AI‑generated data
* Mentor offshore engineers on serverless best practices, conduct code reviews, and serve as the primary technical escalation point
Required skills
* Expert‑level proficiency in Python and AWS Boto3 SDK
* Deep, hands‑on experience with AWS Step Functions and Lambda
* Strong practical knowledge of Amazon Bedrock API and Amazon A2I (or SageMaker Ground Truth)
* Familiarity with front‑end web technologies (HTML, CSS, Liquid templating)
