Financial Data Scientist - Banking Analytics/ Fraud vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the banking sector.
Your tasks:
* Supporting data analytics and business intelligence initiatives, with a focus on Internal Fraud
* Designing, developing, validating, implementing, and monitoring predictive models
* Working closely with senior stakeholders to design quantitative solutions using various analytical principles
* Creating and maintaining relevant documentation
* Assessing and managing change requests raised by the business
* Executing regular and ad-hoc analysis and reports
Your experience/knowledge:
* Strong banking experience with a focus on compliance, risk management, and legal
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a project environment
* Master or Bachelor's degree in STEM fields, economics, or banking and finance
* Strong database programming skills (e.g., SQL)
* Proficient in programming (e.g., Python)
* Language skills: Fluent in English
