We offer an innovative, collaborative and thriving environment.Responsibilities:Planning & SchedulingPrepare and distribute a monthly schedule for maintenance technicians, clearly indicating site assignmentsShare schedules with the Head of Security & Maintenance to ensure full visibilityParticipate in daily coordination meetings to align operational prioritiesTeam Leadership & SupervisionHold regular on?site meetings with the maintenance teamAssign tasks, provide clear instructions, and monitor progressKeep the Head of Maintenance fully informed of all ongoing work, challenges, and developments, including minor issues and detailsInspire and support the maintenance team through training, knowledge sharing, and continuous developmentDevelop and document maintenance proceduresContractor & Service SupervisionSupervise external contractors working on site to ensure quality, safety, and complianceMonitor service execution to guarantee efficiency and reliabilityMaintain strong floor presence during daily operations and special eventsTechnical & Operational SupportProvide technical guidance in maintaining and repairing campus equipment and infrastructureSchedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesEnsure proper functioning of access control systems, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, safety signage, and other safety installationsProcurement & AdministrationManage purchase orders (POs) and product reception for maintenance materials and servicesMaintain an up to date daily operations file tracking all ongoing, planned, and completed tasksEnsure documentation remains accessible to managementMaintain inventories and lifecycle planning for equipment and infrastructureOversee budgets, timelines, and technical specifications to ensure cost-effective outcomesEmergency & Strategic SupportSupport the Head of Maintenance in emergency evaluations and resource allocationCoordinate insurance claims with security and operationsPrepare regular reports for managementIdentify improvement opportunities and propose operational enhancementsStay up to date with emerging technologies and best practicesParticipate in on-call rotations and provide support during extraordinary eventsProfile and experiences:Technical qualification in building maintenance, electrical, mechanical systems or related field (CFC or equivalent preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, education, or multi-site environmentsPrevious experience supervising a team or coordinating contractors is strongly preferredGood understanding of Swiss safety standards and building regulationsSolid knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, access control, fire safety, emergency systems)Ability to plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesBudget awareness and cost-control mindsetComfortable using maintenance tracking tools and basic administrative systems (PO management, reporting, Excel)Strong organizational, planning, communication and reporting skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyTeam-oriented leadership skills with the ability to give clear instructions and follow up on executionFluent written and spoken English and French, other languages a plusOther information:Type of contract: undefined period of time contractActivity rate: 100%Location: Glion campus (Route de Glion 111, 1823 Glion)Start date: May 25th, 2026 jidf85afe8afr jit0418afr jpiy26afr
