We are expanding our team and looking for Digital Managers/Senior Managers to join the Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team. The role will be based in several Swiss office locations: Zürich, Geneva, Basel, Lausanne and Bern.
The CCaSS team shapes the future by helping businesses respond to societal, environmental, and economic challenges. We combine core accounting and reporting knowledge with expertise in technical and regulatory sustainability issues. Our clients improve the credibility of their ESG reporting and integrate sustainability aspects into business processes, including supplier management, climate & nature strategies and labor rights.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client engagements focused on designing and implementing sustainability technology solutions.
Advise clients on target architectures, operating models and technology roadmaps for ESG data, reporting and performance management.
Drive projects involving Microsoft solutions such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, Fabric, Power BI, Azure and Microsoft OpenAI and Copilot, as well as adjacent technologies from other vendors.
Apply AI‑enabled solution design, including Copilot, Azure OpenAI, intelligent automation, document extraction, knowledge retrieval, or agent‑based workflows.
Shape or contribute to AI architecture for enterprise use cases, covering orchestration, security, access models, integration patterns and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into solution design, process flows, data models and functional specifications.
Lead workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize use cases and align on delivery approach.
Oversee solution configuration, testing, deployment and business adoption.
Manage project teams, coach junior colleagues and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Contribute to business development by shaping proposals, client pitches, points of view and go‑to‑market offerings.
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across sustainability, finance, procurement, operations and IT.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology/engineering, ideally combined with environmental sciences/engineering, sustainability or related fields.
Interest in sustainability, climate change, human rights, biodiversity and non‑financial reporting & assurance, with training in these areas.
Experience in climate change services, human rights or financial/non‑financial audit.
Ability to work independently across multiple engagements with overlapping deadlines.
Agility to learn, adapt, ask the right questions and deliver client‑focused solutions.
Strong project leadership, stakeholder management and business development skills.
What We Look For
5‑10+ years of experience in consulting, system integration or enterprise technology transformation.
Good understanding of the Microsoft stack, including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Copilot and Azure OpenAI services or adjacent technologies.
Proven ability to lead workstreams or end‑to‑end projects in complex client environments.
Strong understanding of data, process and systems integration topics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience developing proposals, managing teams and contributing to practice growth.
University degree in business, technology, engineering, sustainability or a related field.
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Italian, German or French is a plus.
Ideally, You Also Bring
Experience with Microsoft Sustainability Manager.
Experience in ESG, sustainability, carbon, non‑financial reporting, supplier engagement or broader sustainability data management.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture, cloud‑based data platforms and workflow automation.
Experience integrating Microsoft solutions with ERP, data platforms or third‑party sustainability tools.
A strong network within the Microsoft ecosystem or experience collaborating with alliance teams.
Relevant certifications, preferably from Microsoft.
