Sales team manager | regional accounts

This role involves overseeing a team of Inside Regional Account Managers to drive direct sales into regional accounts. As Team Lead, you will report directly to the Territory Sales Director for Switzerland.

* Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership:
* Motivate and Direct Your Team - Lead by example, manage and motivate your sales team to achieve and exceed their goals.
* Coach and Mentor Colleagues - Develop your team's skills to become proficient in cross and upselling.
* Set Quotas and Drive Success - Establish clear targets for your team and work towards achieving them.
* Cultivate Talent - Develop your team to become the field sales representatives or regional account managers of tomorrow.
2. Sales Excellence:
* Achieve Revenue Targets - Carry out quarterly and annual revenue targets set by the company.
* Deliver Accurate Forecasting - Provide reliable weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting to your manager.
* Tier Accounts and Drive Growth - Guide your team to create meaningful tiering for assigned accounts and facilitate account transfers to regional account managers.
3. Relationships:
* Foster Key Relationships - Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
* Manage Technical Partnerships - Manage effective working relationships with technical sales engineers and consulting professionals, as well as their management.
* Promote Revenue Growth - Partner with Fortinet marketing to plan and execute targeted campaigns for customer segments and engineering teams.
4. Orchestration:
* Coordinate Distributor Partnerships - Work closely with relevant distributors and partners to drive territory business.
* Ensure Smooth Communication - Serve as the lead contact responsible for the flow of information to/from executive management.
* Align Channel Efforts - Coordinate with channel account managers to align efforts and drive success.


Qualifications and Skills

5. Leadership:
* Results-Oriented Leader - A goal-oriented individual with strong interpersonal managerial skills, business acumen, and positive leadership abilities.
* Team Development Expert - Proven results in mentoring, motivating, and developing teams.
* Problem-Solving Skillset - Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Internal Sales Experience - Experience in managing a team of internal sales, selling over the phone.
6. Sales Excellence:
* Solution Selling Expertise - Proven ability to sell solutions to regional customers.
* Industry Knowledge - Experience in the cybersecurity and/or network security industry.
* Revenue Growth Track Record - A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
* Closing Deals - Experience in closing deals and providing excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
* Data Analysis - Extensive experience with SFDC, Excel, and ideally Tableau.
* Language Proficiency - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and German are a must, French is a plus).
7. Education:
* Degree Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
