Our client is an international retail company seeking a Retail Operations Analyst. The role involves:
Retail Analytics (50%) : Deliver insights and analysis for retail review governance and seasonal market trends. Support EMEA retail operations including costing, business case development, back-office implementation, system configuration, and user acceptance testing. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and calendar planning with the Business Analytics Manager. Contribute to the rollout of new tools and initiatives to boost retail sales (e.g., pre-sale modules).
Go-to-Market Support (20%) : Prepare content for commercial teams and help implement retail activation events (e.g., open doors, contests) to energize the dealer network.
Retail Financing & Extended Warranty (30%) : Drive improvements and standardization in the European retail financing ecosystem. Collaborate with marketing to ensure visibility of financing offers. Support subsidized financing programs, including costing, bank discussions, business cases, approvals, system setup, and user acceptance testing.
Experience & Education: 2-5 years in business analytics, business intelligence, or commercial/marketing roles within an international environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
Technical Skills: Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a strong plus. Ability to present data clearly, synthesize information, and explain insights to C-level stakeholders. Skilled at transforming data into actionable recommendations.
Soft Skills: Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, problem-solving, clear communication, teamwork, organization, accuracy, results orientation, and adaptability under pressure.
Work Environment: Based in Lausanne, Switzerland. North American-style, flat management structure. Open, collaborative culture with a strong sense of belonging. Hybrid work policy: on-site 4 days/week during onboarding; thereafter, 50% remote possible.
Recruitment Process: Three-step interview process, including a case study.
Start Date: Ideally mid-July to early August.
