Who we are
We are the POLARIS Technology Center Burgdorf, powertrain development center of the legendary American brand INDIAN Motorcycle. We are developing tomorrow’s mobility, with an international team and flat organization structures.
What you do
* Working in project teams on development and calibration of control and regulation functions for the next engine generations – used worldwide
* Key areas of responsibility include base engines, exhaust aftertreatment, OBD systems, and vehicle drivability
* Conducting tests using state-of-the-art measurement technology on test benches and directly on vehicles
* Participation on national and international test rides
* Evaluating test results, documenting the work, and presenting the findings to the team
What you bring to the team
* Successfully completed degree in engineering, e.g., mechatronics, automotive, mechanical or electrical engineering
* Several years of experience in combustion engine applications, control engineering, and European emissions regulations
* Experienced application and evaluation software user, such as INCA, Uniplot, Concerto, Matlab/Simulink
* Willingness to travel for assignments worldwide
* Valid motorcycle driving license, category A
* Good verbal and written English skills
