For our client, a leading company in the Energy sector, we are currently looking for a SAP GTS Consultant
Background:
To ensure the successful implementation of our client's SAP GTS Passar project, we are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant who will be responsible for both the technical implementation and coordination with third parties (mid-dleware provider Seeburger, Swiss customs authorities).
Currently, we are working with SAP GTS Version 11.0 (standalone), integrated into our central SAP landscape.
In a parallel project called "Primus", the transition from SAP GTS Version 11.0 to SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA has already started. Here, active participation and contribution is essential, since Switzerland is sharing one SAP GTS instance with the whole DACH region.
The goal is to achieve a smooth go-live in Q4 2025/ Q1 2026 for both projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Technical implementation of the new Passar customs procedure within our existing SAP GTS 11.0 environment
* Integration and coordination with Seeburger middleware for connecting to the Swiss customs scenario
* Alignment and communication with external partners and authorities (e.g. Swiss customs)
* Transition and coordination with the German GTS team regarding the introduction of SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA
* Close cooperation with internal SAP teams and business stakeholders to ensure proper requirement coverage for both projects
* Organization and execution of test scenarios (SIT/UAT) in collaboration with business units
* Go-live preparation and support, including cutover coordination and hypercare phase
Your Profile:
* Several years of experience as an SAP GTS Consultant, with a focus on Version 11.0 and the implementation of SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA
* Solid knowledge of Swiss customs processes, ideally with prior experience in Passar implementation
* Strong technical understanding of the SAP GTS 11.0 architecture, particularly in the areas of interfaces, IDoc handling, and Seeburger integration
* Technical knowledge about the SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA and potential process implications/ changes compared to SAP GTS 11.0
* Already performed conversions/ migrations from SAP GTS 11.0 to SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA
* Proven experience in collaborating with third-party providers and public authorities
* Fluent in German, good command of English
* Structured, independent working style; project management experience is an asset
