Job description We are looking for a new team member in the role as Lean Six Sigma Engineer Location: Mezzovico, Switzerland Type of Contract: permanent employment Startdate: in alignment with the candidate-s availabilities Shift: n/a YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Using the tools of Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma (VSM, SMED, Kaizen DMAIC, PDCA, etc. ), the key responsibilities of this position include educating, promoting, and mentoring continuous improvement activities. * The Lean Six Sigma Engineer aims to optimize any process or operation, which seeks to minimize or eliminate non-value add activities. YOUR BACKGROUND * Education on Engineering field, with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing industry (Medical environment and /or metal industry experience is an advantage). * Basic understanding of Lean- and Six Sigma tools, such as VSM, A3 problem solving, DMAIC, Statistical Process Control. * Persuasive and assertive communication skills. * Fluent speaking in Italian AND English. * Ready to travel within Switzerland.
