The Master Scheduler and Planner role is responsible for overseeing the scheduling of activities and projects, ensuring a monthly and yearly vision is highlighted.
Key responsibilities include assessing workflows and value stream mapping of products, highlighting potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement. This involves ensuring materials are properly ordered and delivered to jobsites, researching and analyzing suppliers and plans to identify cost and logistics issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of planning and supply chain challenges. They will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, managing inventory to maintain appropriate levels, and monitoring work-in-progress, particularly transformed parts.
A key aspect of this role is being accountable for delivery dates internally and externally, securing and ensuring timely delivery to clients while coordinating availability of raw materials and resources. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing reports for management, clients, and customers.
This position requires strong leadership and assertiveness, with a high sense of accountability. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, is highly valued. Knowledge of automotive, medtech, or aerotech industries is also desirable, although not essential.
