Responsibilities: * Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering an environment that encourages collaborative knowledge sharing and supports individual professional development. * Direct the month-end closing process by ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements for senior management and stakeholders, upholding transparency throughout all reporting cycles. * Formulate budgets, develop financial forecasts, and conduct variance analyses to inform strategic financial planning and guide organisational decision-making. * Oversee cash flow management to guarantee sufficient resources for operational requirements while maintaining strict adherence to internal policies. * Ensure full tax compliance by meticulously reporting financial information in accordance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements, thereby protecting the organisation's reputation. * Coordinate with external auditors by providing thorough documentation and facilitating audit processes according to regulatory standards. * Monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against established budgetary targets for all business units, delivering comprehensive reports that support operational enhancements. * Design and implement cost reduction strategies aimed at achieving ambitious savings objectives without compromising quality or service standards. * Participate in system upgrades and efficiency improvement initiatives, contributing meaningfully to operational excellence across multiple sites. * Prepare detailed product and project margin reports for management review, thereby supporting informed decisions regarding future investments. What sets you apart: * Finance Manager with 5 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial environment in Switzerland * Background in manufacturing, ideally across multi-site or multi-plant operations * Fluent in English and French * Proven people manager, with experience developing finance talent through coaching and feedback * Strong ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs * Track record of improving operational performance through collaborative, cross-functional work * Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact across all levels of the organisation * Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach * Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines without compromising accuracy * Advanced IT skills; experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERP systems * Willing to travel between sites as required
