THE ROLE

We are seeking a Legal Project Manager for a Global Financial Services Company in Zurich, Switzerland. This role focuses on leading and delivering complex legal and operational projects, optimizing processes through data analysis and technology implementation, and supporting senior legal leadership with strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine legal operations expertise with strong project management, data visualization, and communication skills to drive efficiency and innovation within the legal function. Proficiency in English is required for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and manage legal-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards within a legal management environment.
2. Apply strong problem-solving capabilities to overcome challenges and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
3. Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare high-quality briefings and materials for meeting preparation.
4. Draft and coordinate clear and concise internal and external communications.
5. Support the department head in organizing and preparing internal and external meetings.
6. Interact with internal stakeholders to gather data and consolidate it into structured summaries, dashboards, and visualizations.
7. Utilize advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Macros, SQL queries, and data exports, to analyze and interpret legal and operational datasets.
8. Design and develop user dashboards within Excel to enable efficient data access, monitoring, and decision-making.
9. Create high-quality, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate complex legal and operational concepts.
10. Collaborate on the evaluation and implementation of legal technology tools, contributing to the department's digital transformation and innovation agenda.
11. Demonstrate curiosity and a proactive mindset by initiating change and improvement initiatives that contribute to the department's strategic goals.


YOUR PROFILE
12. Demonstrated experience in legal operations, legal project management, or related roles within a corporate or financial services environment.
13. Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Macros, pivot tables, SQL integration, and data set exports.
14. Experience in creating and maintaining user dashboards within Excel to support project tracking and performance monitoring.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to design professional-grade presentations that effectively communicate technical and strategic content.
16. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
17. Prior involvement in legal tech assessments, tool implementation, or technology transformation initiatives is a significant advantage.
18. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and synthesize complex information.
19. Fluent in English; German language skills are an asset.
