Die neu gegründete Supply Chain Management Group (Prof. Nathan Kunz) im Department of Informatics der Universität Fribourg lädt Bewerbungen für eine PhD-Position im Bereich humanitäre und/oder nachhaltige Supply‑Chain‑Management ein. Die Position ist für bis zu 5 Jahre gefördert und bietet die Möglichkeit, an bedeutender Forschung mitzuwirken.

Ihre Aufgaben
* Conduction of rigorous, practice-oriented research in the field of humanitarian and/or sustainable supply chain management, using quantitative and qualitative methods.
* Contribution to ongoing and newly developed research projects, publication of their findings in high-quality academic journals, and work toward completing a PhD.
* Defining specific research topics collaboratively, considering the candidate’s interests, skills, and alignment with the group’s research priorities.
* Participation in teaching activities at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, including leading exercise sessions, supervising student projects, and assisting with administrative tasks.
* A fully funded PhD position (up to 5 years).
Gewünschtes Profil
* Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, International Business, Informatics, or a closely related field.
* Strong motivation and aptitude for empirical research in collaboration with industry partners.
* Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
* Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
