Job Description: To reinforce our EMEA sales team, we are looking for a dynamic and autonomous Account Manager Automotive in Germany. In this role, you will have full responsibility for your accounts, driving product and solutions selling of our broad u-blox portfolio. Working at the forefront of technology, you will focus on the development of direct accounts in Automotive.
You will be joining a motivated and knowledgeable Sales team who work closely together to achieve success and whose mission is to find the right solutions and create value for our customers. To be successful in this role, you should be passionate about solving customer challenges. You also bring first sales experience in electronic industries, and a focus on the Automotive market is a plus. You thrive in learning about new technologies like ADAS. The role is home-based anywhere in Germany. You will report directly to the Head of Key Accounts Automotive EMEA.
Your Responsibilities:
Define & implement the sales strategy for assigned accounts
Work collaboratively across teams - including Sales Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and global sales functions
Focus on developing assigned accounts
Drive the sales process through the entire cycle: managing accounts, making technical and commercial proposals, selling products and solutions, negotiating sales contracts, and closing orders
Provide feedback on current and future market requirements and customer satisfaction
Support MarCom activities like press releases and trade fairs
Your Skills and Experience:
University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
First experience in sales of electronic products, preferably in the Automotive industry
Technical knowledge in positioning, Bluetooth, or WiFi technologies is an asset
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and actions
Excellent customer relationship skills on all hierarchical levels and ability to handle difficult situations diligently
Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
Self-motivated and disciplined
Travel required: 30% of work schedule, mainly to customers or to the HQ in Switzerland
Native German speaker and excellent English skills
Up to 30 vacation days
