Job Title:
Heavy Industry Planner
About the Role:
* Develop and implement weekly schedules, working closely with planners to ensure seamless execution.
* Collaborate with technical staff to provide guidance at planning meetings, driving efficiency and productivity.
* Liaise with Maintenance teams to optimize equipment maintenance scheduling, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Oversee short-term dump design work and inspection processes, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date reconciliation meeting figures, providing a clear picture of operational performance.
* Work closely with the projects team to coordinate resources and communicate requirements, fostering effective collaboration.
* Analyze monthly dumping sequences and construction methodologies to inform resource allocation and priority setting.
* Verify that all designs uploaded to Engineering Master or released to Production adhere to established processes and signoffs.
Roster and Location:
* 15 days on, 13 days off roster.
* Based at a remote mine site in the Northern Territory.
About You:
* Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining or a related field from a reputable tertiary institution.
* Demonstrated expertise in mining engineering systems for open pit metalliferous mines, with a minimum of three years' experience.
* Familiarity with mine design and scheduling software (Vulcan, Deswik).
