Your main responsibilities: - Drive the pricing process by independently managing and executing all operational pricing activities, ensuring continuous communication between the Intraday Trading team, Sales & Origination and the Structuring desk for flawless customer support Implement adaptations for existing pricing tools and develop market-specific pricing tool solutions for the pricing of third-party assets - Perform continuous portfolio monitoring and reporting to internal stakeholders, including ad-hoc and risk management reporting - Conduct quantitative portfolio analyses to assess risks, identify new business opportunities, and define new pricing strategies in cooperation with the Trading team and Sales & Origination to optimize revenue and market share - Provide continuous input to reduce manual workload within existing processes and ensure business scalability for Alpiq's ambitions in Europe Your profile: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field - Ideally 3–5 years of professional experience in energy markets - Strong knowledge of European energy markets, with emphasis on direct marketing and power trading in Germany - Analytical mindset with proven experience in quantitative finance and statistics - Advanced programming skills in Python and proficiency in databases, SQL and Power BI - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and counterparties - Fluency in English; German is a strong plus. Knowledge of French, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish is an advantage
