This role focuses on developing strategies, ensuring accurate cost estimation, and implementing best practices through the Commercial Playbook. The Director also oversees blueprint analysis, manages bid documentation, and fosters vendor partnerships to streamline operations. With strong leadership and expertise in commercial construction, this position empowers owners to achieve project success efficiently and effectively. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Commercial Bid Strategy /h3 ul liWork with owners to identify and source commercial bid opportunities. /li liGuide owners through the commercial bid submission process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices. /li liStrategize with owners on bid assessment, including insurance ramifications and bid bonding. /li /ul h3Training And Support /h3 ul liTrain owners on contract negotiations and managing all phases of a commercial project. /li liProvide support during project implementation to solve challenges related to scope, labor, or finances. /li liEnsure owners are fully equipped to manage the commercial bid process effectively. /li /ul h3Cost Estimation And Analysis /h3 ul liOversee Blueprint Analysts in reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation for accurate estimates. /li liCalculate project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. /li liDeliver detailed cost estimates to project teams and clarify calculations when needed. /li /ul h3Bid And Documentation Management /h3 ul liEnsure all bid documents are completed accurately and submitted by required deadlines. /li liOwn and manage the implementation of the Commercial Playbook for owners. /li /ul h3Vendor And Tool Utilization /h3 ul liCollaborate with the Director of Field Operations to create and maintain vendor partnerships. /li liLeverage commercial bidding tools, including WinBidPro, Bluebeam, and Construct Connect, for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. /li liOther duties may be assigned. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum of five (5) or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and industry best practices. /li liProven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. In-field troubleshooting and independent decision-making for successful outcomes. /li liAbility to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule for glass installation projects. /li liCollaborative approach for continued teamwork. /li liProficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. /li liUnderstanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry. /li liProblem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. /li liA valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: /li liStand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. /li liUse vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color. /li liWork in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc. /li liLift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs. /li liMust be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice. /li liMust be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods. /li /ul h3Salary /h3 p$100,000-$110,000 /p h3Equal Employment Opportunity Statement /h3 pSVHB Marketing LLC d/b/a HorsePower Brands, is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting, retaining, developing, and promoting the most qualified employees without regard to their race, gender, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic prohibited by federal or state law.
