To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in the Food Sector to start immediately.Your tasks and responsibilities(Co-)development and implementation of group-wide procurement strategies and goalsManaging the demand process in collaboration with experts and stakeholdersOverseeing the procurement and tendering process (sourcing, requests for information, requests for quotations, negotiations)Managing the supplier selection processConducting contract negotiations and concluding framework agreementsProcurement controlling: recording and updating data for the reporting systemAnalyzing and monitoring market trends to identify new sourcing opportunitiesTracking relevant market data and trends for assigned product categoriesHandling operational issues in daily business (e.g., delayed or missing supplier deliveries)Collaborating with other departments such as product development, quality assurance, and logistics/supply chainConducting supplier audits and evaluationsDeveloping and maintaining strategic partnerships and supplier relationshipsYour profileCompleted studies in economics, supply chain management, or equivalent qualificationSeveral years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the food sectorStrong negotiation skills, communication abilities, and assertivenessAnalytical thinking and structured work approachHigh degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and team spiritProficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is a plusFluency in German and English (written and spoken)Solid procurement knowledgeBasic legal and financial understandingFamiliarity with the products and services in the area of responsibilityUnderstanding of the supplier marketWhat we offerA challenging and responsible position in a dynamic and forward-thinking companyModern work environment and mindsetOpportunities for professional and personal developmentA motivated and collaborative teamFlexible working hours and home office optionsApplicationHave we piqued your interest?
