Our client is the IT department of an international bank in Zürich. We are looking for a DevSecOps specialist (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
* Monitoring or integrating security measures into a growing IT environment, covering the entire software development and operation cycle (DevOps process).
* Optimising developments, processes and tools.
* Automating security tests.
* Implementing secure CI/CD pipelines and optimising shell scripts.
* Performing vulnerability analyses.
* Managing infrastructure security.
* Supporting developers throughout the development cycle.
* Ensuring the configuration and management of secure systems, including containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments.
* Monitoring systems for security incidents and regularly conducting vulnerability analyses and penetration tests, including root‑cause analysis.
* Ensuring compliance and data protection (ISO 27001, GDPR) throughout the workflow.
* Ensuring best practices and company standards, including the creation of documentation.
* Ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Engineering.
* DevSecOps Engineer (ECDE) is an advantage.
* Work experience as a DevSecOps engineer in banking, consulting on banking projects, or at an international Microsoft partner.
* Ability to analyse IT environments from a top‑down perspective.
* Experience with end‑to‑end hybrid cloud and AI‑driven solutions.
* Understanding of cloud security concepts, vulnerability management, and secure configuration in cloud environments.
* Technical proficiency with Kubernetes, including deep understanding of control plane components, networking (CNI), storage (CSI), service mesh concepts, and operators.
* Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (Azure DevOps).
* Experience with logs, ETL, API Management, and NoSQL databases.
* Experience as a developer with Microsoft .NET and with technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis or Kafka.
* Experience with version control (Git), automation (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible), and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Professional experience as a developer with Microsoft .NET is desirable.
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
* Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams and promote security awareness.
* Hands‑on mentality.
* Proficiency in German and English.
