Located within a prestigious 5-star hotel, this restaurant will offer predominantly authentic Chinese cuisine with a touch of Japanese influence, creating a unique and exceptional dining experience. Requirements
1. Prepare and present a diverse range of Dim Sum dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring they meet the highest culinary standards.
2. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine Dim Sum recipes and presentation, adhering to the fusion concept.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Dim Sum station, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
4. Source and manage the inventory of Dim Sum ingredients, keeping supplies well-stocked and fresh.
5. Adapt and innovate traditional and contemporary Dim Sum recipes to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
6. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff in the art of crafting Dim Sum and Asian cuisine.
7. Stay informed about emerging culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu when appropriate.
8. Participate in the creation of daily specials and promotions to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
9. Provide excellent customer service, interact with guests, and accommodate their special requests related to Dim Sum.
Applicant Requirements / Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Dim Sum Chef in a fast-paced Asian cuisine setting.
2. Expertise in crafting a wide variety of Dim Sum dishes with an emphasis on presentation and taste.
3. Extensive knowledge of both authentic Chinese and Pan Asian cuisine, including the use of traditional and modern ingredients.
4. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
5. Excellent time management and multitasking skills, particularly during peak dining hours.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with the kitchen staff.
7. A creative and adaptable approach to Dim Sum creation, catering to diverse customer tastes.
8. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment.
9. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary starting from: 5,500 CHF Gross or 4,500 NET per month plus 13th salary.
Only EU passport holder is possible due to the visa restrictions in Switzerland.
