Your tasks
1. Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM)
2. Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts
3. Request and execute engine modifications
4. Control of executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies
5. Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work
6. Apply Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
7. Continuously improve processes to be executed with the aim of improving quality and safety
8. Environmentally conscious handling of operating equipment (resources)
9. Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition
10. Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders
11. Documenting activities assigned in accordance with regulations
12. Perform internal audits (eg. 5S audits) and in-time implementation of the defined actions
Your profile
13. Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
14. 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
15. Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/ part 66
16. Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
17. Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
18. Open-minded and dedicated team player with good communication skills
19. High safety, quality and cost awareness
20. Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
21. Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
