As part of our growth, we are looking for an EMSR Engineer to join a major project with one of our clients in the chemical sector, based in Basel.
Your main responsibilities Contribute to the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical, measurement, and control systems
Ensure proper operation and availability of instrumentation and automation equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EMSR systems
Maintain and update technical documentation, including diagrams and configuration files
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all systems
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and external suppliers to support project execution
Identify improvements to increase reliability and performance of EMSR components
Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance planning
Your profile Degree in Electrical, Automation, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent)
3+ years of experience in EMSR engineering within an industrial environment
Good knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial control systems
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEC, ATEX, SIL) is an advantage
Fluent in English; French or German would be a plus
Autonomous, structured, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable working both in the field and with cross-functional teams
Only candidates of Swiss or EU/EFTA nationality, or those holding a valid Swiss residence and work permit, will be considered.
