On behalf of one of our clients, a global leader in industrial engineering, we are looking for a Customer support engineer to join its R&D department. In this role, you will act as a key technical expert, ensuring the validation, optimization, and reliability of advanced electrical solutions for industrial equipment. You’ll contribute to both new product launches and the continuous improvement of existing systems.
* Ensure proper functionality of technical solutions during production, at subcontractor sites, or directly on customer premises
* Perform validation and verification of electrical systems developed by the engineering teams
* Create commissioning documents based on R&D specifications
* Develop simulation tools for product commissioning and troubleshooting
* Provide hands-on support to production teams, ensuring quality and performance
* Analyse and resolve technical issues, potentially involving customer site visits
* Act as a reference for technical support and complex troubleshooting
Profile required:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Computer Science
* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role
* Strong track record in hands-on support and problem-solving in the field
* Proactive, flexible, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
* Familiarity with object-oriented programming (ideally Delphi or C++)
* Willingness to travel internationally (20% to 40%)
* Fluent in English and French
